Job description

  • Design, build, and deliver fast and reliable Enterprise Integration Engineering solutions.
  • Develop AWS Lambda Stubs and Libraries in Java, Rust and Python to enable rapid subscriber development.
  • Collaborate with leads and developers across the enterprise to deliver optimal integration solution.
  • Write high-performing, scalable code using Rust and Python for our integration frameworks.
  • Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scripts, and review project artifacts created by peers.
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to software architecture or new technologies in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

  • Strong IT professional with 2-4 years of experience in software development, demonstrating high ownership and accountability.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience developing high-performing code, preferred in Python and/or Rust.
  • Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS.
  • Strong understanding of system design patterns.
  • Good understanding of security best practices.
  • Nice to have: Experience with NoSQL databases, AWS Glue, MCP, and AI technologies.
  • Experience working with Jenkins and Git or similar automation/repository management tools.
  • Experience with event-driven applications, especially those built around AWS EventBridge.
  • Experience working with the modern UI frameworks, such as Next.js.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Must be curious and willing to learn, excellent communication and prioritization skills, able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
  • Owns success - takes responsibility for successful delivery of solutions.
  • Strong desire to improve upon your skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
