Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a central technology team responsible for designing, operating, and scaling a global public cloud network infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multi-region cloud environments, contributing to a fast-growing and highly innovative organisation. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure reliability, security, and availability of large-scale public cloud network infrastructure
  • Operate and improve multi-region, multi-cloud networking environments
  • Automate provisioning and configuration using Python and Terraform
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot networking solutions in AWS environments
  • Monitor and optimise performance, proactively resolving issues
  • Manage incidents and coordinate with vendors in multi-vendor ecosystems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on scalable network designs

Requirements

  • Strong networking fundamentals (BGP, routing & switching, TCP/IP)
  • Hands-on AWS networking expertise (VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, Load Balancers)
  • Experience with cloud security and firewall technologies (preferably Palo Alto)
  • Proven automation experience using Python and Terraform (3+ years)
  • Knowledge of internet architecture, RPKI, IRR, and global peering
  • Experience in incident management and vendor coordination
