We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and willing to learn Junior Software Developer with aspirations to build world-class solutions. The person chosen for this position will have the opportunity to contribute their creative ideas and energy to our global organization. The successful candidate is a team player with a positive attitude.

• Please note that this position is located in Amsterdam (3 days a week from our Amsterdam office and 2 days working from home)

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Contributing to the development and maintenance of our applications within the JET FinTech platform.
• Participating in code reviews and implementing testing strategies to ensure high-quality code.
• Working closely with developers to learn and implement best practices in software development.
• Championing engineering excellence and technical improvements.
• Proactively contributing to team goals and helping to get the job done.

What will you bring to the team?

• Application of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, testing, and debugging, in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of consuming, producing, and designing web services and message brokers.
• Understanding of software engineering.
• Willing to learn C#.
• Willing to learn php.
• Willing to learn AWS and other cloud service providers.
• Willing to learn JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) to front-end.
• Basic understanding of disciplines within their team (e.g., software engineering, product management).
