Job description
- Configure, administer, and optimize Dynatrace monitoring and observability platforms.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, and reporting for application and infrastructure performance monitoring.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard DevOps tools.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance.
- Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor cloud environments and ensure platform availability, security, and scalability.
- Champion DevOps, SRE, and observability best practices across the organisation.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Hands-on expertise with Dynatrace administration, monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Containerisation and orchestration experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills
- SRE or observability experience.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
- Relevant cloud or Dynatrace certifications.
