Assignment Capsule:

As a Digital Web Senior Software Engineer you will develop an understanding of Humana's business needs and translate those needs into web application systems, design specifications and solutions. You will partner with other associates and contractors to analyze, design, develop, implement world-class consumer web and mobile applications using agile methods.

Collaborate with an agile development team to develop web and mobile web applications

Build a standards-driven, scalable, secure and dynamic portal for the customer-facing website applications

Contribute to devops and development standards for web applications

Develop enhancements, resolve issues, coordinate releases of applications to production

Develop APIs and web services that facilitate data access to web applications

Role Essentials:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience

Experience in the areas of web and/or mobile web software development including web services interfaces and consumer secure web applications

Development experience using .Net, .Net MVC, Visual Studio, Java Script, XML, HTML and SQL

Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, OO principles and design patterns, UI development

Working knowledge of Azure and cloud development

Role Desirables:

Prior experience developing enterprise-class external customer-facing websites

Prior experience with web content management and web portal development

Experience with Agile development, Scrum, Lean development

Development experience with Azure Dev Ops

Development experience using Azure and similar cloud applications

Cloud web deployments
