Job description
Infosys is seeking a PeopleSoft Financials Technical Consultant with knowledge and experience supporting carve-out and divestiture projects involving the separation of a business unit. The selected candidate will be responsible for addressing user issues, resolving technical problems, managing tickets and product service requests, and implementing necessary configuration updates. This role requires close collaboration with customer process consultants and subject matter experts (SMEs), performing root- analysis when needed and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, effectively support business and technical stakeholders, and ensure the timely resolution of issues while maintaining system stability and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Location for this position is anywhere in the US. This position may require travel to client/project location
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
- Demonstrated experience with PeopleTools development - PeopleCode, App Engine, CI, SQR, and IB experience.
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance - 2 or more modules of AP/PO/AR/BI/PC/CA/GL/AM/TR modules.
- Strong data migration & carve-out extraction skills using SQL, DMS, ETL.
- Strong knowledge of system integrations and batch scheduling using workload automation tools (Autosys Preferred).
- Experience testing integrations with external and internal systems.
- Ability to redesign and separate integrations using Integration Broker.
- Solid Oracle/SQL database skills for cloning, tuning, backups, and data security.
- Must have experience with issue resolution, root cause identification and analysis.
- Must have the ability to recommend solutions to complex issues., * Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and support processes.
- Knowledge of integrations with HCM, Time and Labor functions is a plus.
- Experience and desire to work closely with customers.
- Experience in collaborative, cross-functional team environments., The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
