Dart - a language believed dead, experiences a new bloom

Version 1.0 of Dart was released back in November 2013. Since then, it has always been very quiet around this language and it never really became successful.

But now that Dart is the programming language behind the more than successful cross-platform framework Flutter, it is gaining more and more popularity.

Dart comes with some very interesting and unique features. For instance, it is possible to compile not only “just in time” (JIT) and “ahead of time” (AOT) but also Dart code to Java Script.

Using various examples and live coding, I will give you an insight into the programming language Dart and show you different features.
