Ultra-Fast In-Memory Data Processing - 1000x Faster Queries at 96% Database Cost Savings

July 19, 2024 10:00 – 12:00 · 120 min Workshop room M7 (18)

What this session covers

For modern apps such as AI, IOT, but also for business apps, 3 factors are most important: 1) high performance, 2) low complexity, 3) low cloud costs. In reality, our apps are mostly too slow, too complex, and too expensive in the cloud. What’s wrong?

Java is very fast. Data ops in RAM require only a few microseconds. Databases reach only millisecond query-time (1000x slower), lead to high complexity and high cloud costs.

EclipseStore is a new Java persistence built for high-performance microservices, cloud-native apps and AI. It lets you process data in-memory and seamlessly mirrors system state into any data storage such as AWS S3. There are 3 main benefits:

1) Highest performance: microsecond query-time, 1000x faster than DB queries,

2) Up to 96% DB cost savings in the cloud, as S3 is 96% cheaper than any DB in the cloud,

3) Simplicity: only 1 data model (POJOs), no mappings or conversions, no caching, pure Java.
