Burnout in Tech: Is It a New Pandemic?

June 30, 2026

What this session covers

We might not like it, but our state is everything. If we’re burned out, angry, upset, frustrated or depressed, our companies, teams and clients are becoming like that as well. Good news? We can get out of this realm of misery. Bad news? We need to actually do something about it. Endless workload, highly competitive global (and local) market, constant pressure to be up to date with tech, talent wars, not taking care of health, lack of time for people… It’s a new reality. We can resent it or fight it. Our choice. During this speech you’ll see the newest research about the subject of burnout in tech with a Burnout IT Framework as a tool to end it. Once and for good.

  • a map of burnout root causes with a personal / individual map for each participants
  • a Burnout IT Framework, so what we can do about the mapped situation (our own and/or our team members)
  • a step-by-step process of getting out of the burnout zone (or event better: prevent it from ever happening)
