World Congress 2026 Europe - Virtual Stage

how to share the chocolate muffin

June 30, 2026

What this session covers

I claim that the expectations for leaders and thus leadership roles need a change in perspective. Leading is no longer a solo sprint through a dessert buffet, picking one sweet win after another. In a PUMO world full of complexity, speed, and emotional demands, leading alone is outdated. That’s why it’s time we talk about co-leadership. Sharing the chocolate muffin of leadership means sharing responsibility, decisions, and impact. It’s about building trust, embracing self-organization, and creating space for multiple voices to lead. There are guiding frameworks helping to navigate, like Holacracy, teal organizations, Lean Thinking, puzzle pieces of micro habits and Management 3.0. Today’s teams need to make most of it, and to structure shared leadership to unlock their collective potential. Because when leadership is shared, everyone gets a bite—and ownership gets collective, not delegated. See you at the dessert buffet?
