Most productivity systems were built on data from male bodies. Not by malice. By default. And when better data became available, nobody went back to redesign the system.
This talk is about what that missing data actually shows.
Women run on a 28-day cycle, not a 24-hour one. Estrogen rises 8-fold. Progesterone rises 80-fold. The brain runs on a completely different hormonal environment every week of the month. That variation was removed from performance research because it was too complicated to correct for. Then the findings were applied to women anyway.
In 30 minutes: the research that finally looked, the 4 CEO Types mapped to the cycle, why the gender gap in negotiation is partly a timing problem, and what leadership looks like when it accounts for how women actually work.
For HR leads, people managers, L&D professionals, and women in leadership.
And for any woman who has ever called herself inconsistent.
