World Congress 2026 Europe - Virtual Stage

Months to minutes: Real world continuous deployment and its sustainability impact

June 30, 2026

What this session covers

Let’s be honest: How often do you release software and how much do you like it? In this talk, I’ll share how we transformed our delivery process from half-year releases to multiple deployments per day. You’ll hear about the real-world challenges we faced, the process changes that turned out to be game changers, and how this shift improved both our product quality and our culture.

We’ll explore why releasing more often can actually be less risky, how communication became a bigger challenge than technology, and how automation turned into a trust exercise for our team. I’ll also show how adopting Staging and DevSecOps practices helped us strengthen reliability and security while keeping speed and simplicity. We’ll close by reflecting on how this transformation impacted our resource consumption and CO2 footprint.
