Values That Don’t End as a Poster: A Discovery Sprint

June 30, 2026

What this session covers

Most companies don’t have a values problem — they have a translation problem. Leadership wants “our values”, HR runs a workshop, a beautiful poster appears… and then nothing changes. Hiring still feels inconsistent, managers interpret culture differently, and employees roll their eyes because the words don’t match reality.

In this session, I’ll share a step-by-step values discovery process that produces values people actually use: in hiring, feedback, promotions, and everyday decisions. It’s built for real constraints (distributed teams, limited time, competing stakeholder opinions) and focuses on outcomes, not slogans.

You’ll learn how to move from abstract words to observable behaviors, define anti-behaviors, collect a “proof library” so values are credible, and set up lightweight rituals that keep values alive without turning HR into the culture police.
