Beyond the AI Hype: Turning Existing Apps into Intelligent Applications

Many business applications still feel slow, manual, and complex: long forms, repetitive input, unclear error messages, document copy-paste, and reporting bottlenecks are everywhere. AI can add meaningful new capabilities to existing applications without replacing systems that already work.

In this hands-on, discussion-driven workshop, we explore how existing applications can be enhanced with practical AI features — from intelligent data capture and conversational forms to smart validation, document extraction, contextual help, and natural-language reporting.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas, application examples, project experiences, and questions. Together, we will identify friction points, exchange product and engineering perspectives, turn real-world challenges into AI feature ideas, and discuss how to prioritize them.

In the prototyping part, we will explore how selected ideas can be translated into first prototypes using Vibe Coding and AI-assisted development. The goal is to make ideas tangible, test assumptions quickly, and show how practical, user-centric AI features can move from concept toward implementation.
