Software Tester (f/m/d)

Your task will be to ensure the high quality of products by proactively and continuously looking for both failures and improvements. Thus, the work can roughly be summarised as:

• Design, implementation, execution, reporting and interpretation of software and system tests
• Development and optimisation of (test) processes
• Focus on automated test solutions
• Analysis and tracking of defects

The product areas may vary, from unit tests in product development to regression tests and front-end tests. While manual tests are necessary in certain areas and at the beginning, our main focus is on automating as many tests as possible.

In a nutshell: You enjoy troubleshooting and feel challenged in the process.

• Development is fun, but a thorough review is just as important to you
• Endless manual repetition of tasks is not your thing, after the third time at the latest, you are looking for solutions to save time and effort? Perfect!
• You have already gained experience with different types of testing (unit, integration, system)
• You can develop in Python, ideally you also have some experience with Linux and the use of CLI tools in a shell
• You speak English well; German is not a must, but a bonus
• Completed training as an IT specialist -or- successful university degree -or- comparable experience in software development
