Job description

  • Carry out on site feasibility and design surveys specific to the Lift industry on Lift shafts and motor rooms.
  • Provide high level engineering solutions compliant with relevant industry standards.
  • Assist sales team technical validation and support.
  • Manage individual project orders in accordance with internal procedures.
  • To become conversant and competent with the current IT platforms including the CRM and ERP systems.
  • Liaise with internal/ external teams with all projects related tasks including customer meetings.
  • Assist with purchasing and cost analysis of all project materials and fabrication.
  • You will work within the companies’ procedures at all times.
  • Utilise SolidWorks 3D Design software to carry out order specific design tasks:

o Design of industry specific product solutions

o Build 3D model libraries of parts and assemblies

o Produce 2D fabrication/ customer approval/ assembly drawings/ general arrangements

o Create photo realistic Rendered visuals

The above is representative of your main duties it is not exhaustive; you will be expected to co-operate with any reasonable request from the company to support its business activities.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, * You will be a motivated individual with excellent time management and a confident member of a team able to assist and communicate with staff at all levels.

  • Able to use own initiative when working alone and within office-based teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the workload and prioritise accordingly.
  • You will be punctual, reliable and possess good written and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; phone and one to one interaction.
  • Having excellent IT skills with focus on Microsoft Office applications.
  • You will be looking for a career with excellent progression opportunities within an international company.
  • Previous experience in the field is essential with a strong understanding of lift installation and modernisation.
  • Minimum Degree qualification or equivalent in a design/engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D/2D or CAD software is essential, full training will be provided.
  • Willing to travel throughout the UK if and when required.
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred.

Benefits & conditions

  • Up to £55.000 + Company Car + Bonus + 33 days of holiday
