Job description
You will use Solid Edge to make improvements to our existing recycling machinery, create one-off modifications to meet customer specifications, and design new recycling equipment to meet market demand.
You will be responsible for the 3D modelling, 2D drafting and Bill of Materials creation.
As well as this, you will write manuals for new machines, modify existing manuals and be involved in creating Risk Assessments and CE certification documents.
Hours and Pay:
Normal working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm We offer flexible hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm, as long as 37.5 hours are worked each week. We are also open on Saturday mornings if you would like to use this to make up your hours.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Word?, We are looking for candidates with a background in machinery design. We are looking for someone with industry experience with CAD software - preferably Solid Edge, although candidates with experience with other CAD packages will also be considered.
The successful applicants will have:
- Experience designing mechanical and hydraulic machines.
- Experience with Solid Edge CAD software.
- Strong Capability with Microsoft Office Products, specifically Word and Excel

The Successful candidates must comply and adhere to laws and regulations covering Health and Safety within the workplace.
