Job description

Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization, optimization and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products. The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume Setup power and performance measurement platforms, execute power and performance test plans, support lab debug activities., * Become expert in all things HaloBox-Linux

  • Monitor inbox/ticket system
  • Reproduce issues on lab devices
  • Generate weekly reports
  • Develop collateral about common issues and issue trends

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience, Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI and BIOS
  • Performance/Power/Thermal related lab work experience is an asset
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skills:

  • Proficient in Linux (preferably Debian/Ubuntu) - certifications are a plus
  • Knows how to install/configure Linux
  • Understands how to troubleshoot system logs
  • Scripting
  • Support experience
