Job description
The Category Site Merchandising team focuses on increasing digital topline sales by optimizing conversion and the overall site experience. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring findability and discoverability of products, making it easy for guests to locate and discover items. By partnering with various teams within and outside of the Digital organization, the team drives the right experience for each category. Additionally, the team is responsible for delivering financial outcomes and plans for the digital business, ensuring that financial goals are met and sustained.
The Senior Manager, Site Merchandising Strategy & Planning- Food & Beverage, is responsible for delivering the digital vision for their pyramid and driving alignment with cross functional teams. This role partners to develop the pyramidâs digital roadmap, quarterly planning process and manages the Digital Roundtable process. They translate business priorities into actionable digital initiatives that enhance guest experience and deliver enterprise growth. As a key strategic connector between pyramid leadership and digital partners, this leader ensures cross-functional clarity, drives operational excellence, and influences decision-making through data, storytelling, and a deep understanding of the evolving digital landscape.
Core Responsibilities:
Program Strategy & Execution: Lead large, complex programs and strategic initiatives that advance digital and enterprise goals.

Drive the development of a clear digital vision and roadmap for the Pyramid with the Sr. Director, collaborating with cross-functional partners in Merch, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure alignment with enterprise strategies and guest experience goals

Partner with the Senior Manager of Category Site Merchandising to lead the pyramidâs quarterly planning process, connecting short-term activations with long-range digital priorities. Develop timelines, milestones, and deliverables; hold partners accountable for on-time execution.

Partner with the Senior Director of Site Merchandising to deliver insightful, actionable Digital Roundtable meetings that align merchandising, marketing, and guest experience strategies across 1P/2P/3P assortments.
Initiative Translation & Digital Partnership: Translate pyramid strategies into clear, executable projects for Digital Roundtable and Journey Line partners.

Define supporting workstreams, success measures, and dependencies that enable efficient execution across digital and enterprise teams.

Drive clarity of ownership and communication across cross-functional partners.
Enablement Partnership : Serve as a pyramid partner for Site Merchandising Enablement captainships to ensure streamlined adoption and scale at the pyramid level.

Act as the single point of contact for pyramid engagement with new and emerging technologies, in partnership with the Enablement team.

Create and refine operational processes, tools, and playbooks to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalable execution across the business pyramid.
Data-Driven Insights & Optimization: Utilize data and analytics to evaluate site performance, assess program impact, and identify optimization opportunities.

Establish measurable KPIs for key strategic programs and track progress toward business outcomes.

Influence prioritization and gain alignment on key initiatives by connecting guest insights, market trends, and business impact.
Executive Communication & Strategic Storytelling

Develop clear, compelling communications and presentations for senior leadership that articulate vision, performance, and future direction.

Drive alignment and decision-making by connecting results and recommendations to enterprise and digital strategies.

8+ years e-commerce experience

2+ years of category level Site Merchandising experience at the Sr. Manager level

Deep business acumen with an entrepreneurial, revenue-generating mindset

Must have both strong technical acumen and a passion for customer experience

Excellent understanding of mass merchandising, retail,e-commerceand multi-channel retailing

Demonstrated experience in strategic and cross-functional influence,planningand execution

High levelof initiative and organization, with the ability to manage ambiguity, risk,uncertaintyand changing directions

Demonstrated experience in team leadership, with a personal interest in development

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including financial and business metrics

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to varying levels of leadership

Demonstrate a deep understanding of e-commerce principles and the full customer journey funnel, tooptimizesite performance and enhance the digital shopping experience

Benefits & conditions
The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.
