Job description

Insight global is looking for a platform engineer to support our client onsite in Kansas City, Mo. The Platform Engineer will design, develop, and deploy complex infrastructure operating platforms and solutions while providing technical expertise to clients and internal teams. This position will create and implement platforms that manage and support various software applications and processes. You will develop and deploy automation scripts to optimize infrastructure management. This person should have experience with Google Cloud Platform and experience building out cloud infrastructure in GCP. This role is a contract and onsite in Kansas city, MO.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Technology, Business, or a related field

  • 4 years in infrastructure and network system design, deployment and management

  • Experience building cloud infrastructure in GCP

  • Scripting experience

  • Git experience

  • Ci/CD processes and tools

Experience deploying and supporting containerized workloads Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi
