  • Review and analyze transportation lanes, freight flows, and routing paths to identify optimization opportunities
  • Modify lane structures, matrix paths, and routing strategies to improve utilization, cost, and service performance
  • Evaluate headhaul/backhaul balance, capacity constraints, and schedule alignment across the network
  • Ensure all proposed lane changes maintain service commitments and operational feasibility
  • Analyze impacts of reroutes and network changes across upstream and downstream lanes
  • Develop recommendations for consolidations, splits, or re-sequencing of lanes
  • Partner with operations, linehaul, and planning teams to validate and implement network changes
  • Build and maintain network models, dashboards, and performance summaries

  • Knowledge of scheduling, linehaul planning, or dispatch operations

Skills & Competencies

  • Data-driven decision maker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to see network-wide impacts rather than isolated lane changes
  • Clear communicator able to explain complex network logic to operational teams
