Job description

JOB DUTIES: This position is ideal for the technical leader who enjoys code architecture and has the vision and desire to guide concepts from inception to fruition. Duties include architecting, developing, and verifying manageability firmware running in an embedded RTOS, for use in dense server platforms. The manageability firmware will be productized in reference designs as well as ODM designs and will be utilized by internal debug teams, validation teams, and customer teams. Strong contenders will combine technical prowess with vision regarding manageability to maximize scalability across platforms and lessen time to market. Programming in C and assembly.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 0-2 years experience of firmware development;Prior work experience in developing firmware for system management controllers required, particular interest in candidates with experience in IPMI, DCMI and SMASH standards;Experience in performing integration with platform, BIOS and OS components;Experience in

developing in embedded Linux OS, FreeRTOS experience will be considered over others;Programming skills with C and assembly;Ability to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers and scope is preferred;Demonstrable debugging skills;Experience in working on Agile and milestone driven product development;Experience in source control and build management, preferred.
