Job description

  • Architect, develop, and verify manageability firmware running in an embedded RTOS for use in dense server platforms.
  • Productize manageability firmware in reference designs and ODM designs.
  • Collaborate with internal debug teams, validation teams, and customer teams.
  • Combine technical prowess with vision regarding manageability to maximize scalability across platforms and reduce time to market.

Requirements

  • This position is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys code architecture and has the vision and desire to guide concepts from inception to fruition.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 0-2 years experience in firmware development.
  • Prior work experience in developing firmware for system management controllers.
  • Experience in developing in embedded Linux OS; FreeRTOS experience is a plus.
  • Programming skills in C and assembly.
  • Ability to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Demonstrable debugging skills.
  • Experience in Agile and milestone-driven product development.
  • Experience in source control and build management., * Experience with IPMI, DCMI, and SMASH standards.
  • Experience in performing integration with platform, BIOS, and OS components.
