Job description
- Architect, develop, and verify manageability firmware running in an embedded RTOS for use in dense server platforms.
- Productize manageability firmware in reference designs and ODM designs.
- Collaborate with internal debug teams, validation teams, and customer teams.
- Combine technical prowess with vision regarding manageability to maximize scalability across platforms and reduce time to market.
Requirements
- This position is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys code architecture and has the vision and desire to guide concepts from inception to fruition.
Requirement/Must Have:
- 0-2 years experience in firmware development.
- Prior work experience in developing firmware for system management controllers.
- Experience in developing in embedded Linux OS; FreeRTOS experience is a plus.
- Programming skills in C and assembly.
- Ability to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Demonstrable debugging skills.
- Experience in Agile and milestone-driven product development.
- Experience in source control and build management., * Experience with IPMI, DCMI, and SMASH standards.
- Experience in performing integration with platform, BIOS, and OS components.
