Hardware Debugging

Job description

Architect, develop, and verify manageability firmware running in an embedded RTOS for use in dense server platforms.
Productize manageability firmware in reference designs and ODM designs.
Collaborate with internal debug teams, validation teams, and customer teams.
Combine technical prowess with vision regarding manageability to maximize scalability across platforms and reduce time to market.

Requirements

This position is ideal for a technical leader who enjoys code architecture and has the vision and desire to guide concepts from inception to fruition.

Requirement/Must Have:

0-2 years experience in firmware development.
Prior work experience in developing firmware for system management controllers.
Experience in developing in embedded Linux OS; FreeRTOS experience is a plus.
Programming skills in C and assembly.
Ability to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Demonstrable debugging skills.
Experience in Agile and milestone-driven product development.
Experience in source control and build management., * Experience with IPMI, DCMI, and SMASH standards.
Experience in performing integration with platform, BIOS, and OS components.
