Application Support Engineer

Will support Operational Technology (OT) and Process Control Network (PCN) application environments. This role is responsible for deploying, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining server-based applications across on-premises and Azure environments. The engineer will support application lifecycle activities, cybersecurity compliance, infrastructure maintenance, system monitoring, and platform modernization initiatives while ensuring high system availability and operational reliability., * Deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support server-based applications within OT and business network environments.

• Install, configure, and support Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Provide design, testing, implementation, and lifecycle support for application platforms and infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot application, server, and infrastructure issues while identifying root causes and implementing resolutions.
• Support Azure-hosted infrastructure and application environments.
• Maintain system documentation, infrastructure diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, information management policies, and risk management requirements.
• Perform operating system and application patch management.
• Support software licensing, asset inventory, monitoring, and lifecycle management activities.
• Participate in application deployment, upgrade, migration, and modernization projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable and secure application platforms. *

• Experience supporting and troubleshooting server-based on-premises and Azure applications in Operational Technology (OT) and business network environments.
• Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Experience providing design, testing, and implementation support for application platform deployments, lifecycle initiatives, or customer-facing projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document infrastructure and application environments. *, * Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and security concepts including Purdue Model, air-gapped networks, and Zero Trust.

• Experience with Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation and system maintenance.
• Experience supporting VMware ESXi, vCenter, and VxRail virtualization environments.
• Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server, Azure, or related technologies.
• Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, or similar distributions).
• Experience administering infrastructure while maintaining cybersecurity standards, information management, and risk compliance using tools such as Tenable Nessus, Tanium, or equivalent.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, SAFe framework, and experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
