Linux/AIX Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to provide day-to-day support for a mixed Red Hat Enterprise Linux and IBM AIX server environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience administering RHEL 7.3-7.9 on Lenovo and HPE hardware, supporting Hadoop workloads, and managing AIX systems. This role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate patching windows and on-call availability for critical issues., * Provide day-to-day administration and support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers (versions 7.3 through 7.9) running on Lenovo and HPE hardware

• Administer and support IBM AIX systems
• Support and maintain Hadoop clusters running on the Red Hat environment
• Perform filesystem and storage space management, including monitoring utilization, expanding volumes, and resolving capacity issues
• Troubleshoot system, performance, network, and application issues across Linux and AIX platforms
• Plan and execute OS patching and updates, including coordinating and working flexible hours for maintenance windows
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical/after-hours incidents
• Document configurations, procedures, and resolutions

Do you have experience in Storage management (system administration)?, * Proven experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x (7.3-7.9)

• Hands-on experience with IBM AIX administration
• Experience supporting server hardware from Lenovo and HPE
• Strong skills in Linux storage and filesystem/space management (LVM, partitioning, capacity planning)
• Experience with OS patching, updates, and maintenance window execution
• Solid troubleshooting skills across OS, hardware, and performance issues
• Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City Monday-Thursday, with flexibility for patching schedules and on-call coverage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Hadoop or other big data platforms in production
• Scripting ability (Bash, Python) for automation
• Red Hat certification (RHCSA/RHCE)
• Experience with monitoring and configuration management tools, * Proven experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x (7.3-7.9)
• Hands-on experience with IBM AIX administration
• Support and maintain Hadoop clusters running on the Red Hat environment
