Job description
- Deliver world-class creative execution against brand design storytelling, with innovative thinking and an obsession around the craft. The Specialist II works as a part of a multidisciplinary design team, focused on execution of the look and feel of the campaigns, across design, art direction and motion. Supporting Lead Designers and Art Directors within a sport category., * Elevating the craft & storytelling: Supporting Lead Designers and Art Directors achieve a consistent level of deliverables, constantly elevating Client’s Design and Art Direction output.
- Support studios with hands-on creative work: A hands-on attitude, leading with curiosity and focus on the design execution of the day-to-day projects. Ability to present creative concepts.
- Provide inspiration for the discipline: Stay at the forefront of trends in fashion, design, film, art, media, sport culture and technology as relevant to Client and the design team.
- Attention to detail: Collaborates within design team and stays laser focused on design details to deliver best-in-class creative.
Partners with:
- Art Director, Sr Creative Directors, Designers, Brand Marketing Directors, Narrative Leads, Retail Design, Digital Design, Production & Ops, Agencies
Requirements
- Minimum required years of experience: minimum of 2-4 years directly relevant work experience. Must have a portfolio for the team to review, either attached or link to site.
Education requirements: Typically requires a bachelors but not required
Must have skills:
- Figma mastery for 2D design, not product design is a must
- Portfolios reflecting streetwear / sport / fashion ideally
Nice to have skills:
- Exposure to or experience in art direction for in-studio photography would be preferred
- Software/technical requirements:
- Figma mastery for 2D design, * Positive influence in creative culture: Ability to work as a dynamic designer who thrives in afast-paced, collaborative environment. Passion for sport and energized by the pursuit of design excellence., * Creative Proficiency: Ability to work on team efforts while working independently to deliver on individual responsibilities.
Time management skills.
- Art direction & Design Knowledge: Experience delivering outstanding photography, graphic design, video content, experiences and digital design in service of sport category, on time and within budget. Highly curious, experimental and eager to learn.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to apply visual skills to communicate complex ideas, helping align stakeholders with clarity and influence.
Collaboration & Influence:
- Strong interpersonal skills with dedication to collaborate with internal partners, and drive to create a positive work environment.
Entrepreneurial Drive: Proactively identifies opportunities and drives innovation.
