Job description
GTS Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support IT project delivery, customer coordination, vendor management, project tracking, reporting, and project closeout for assigned client projects.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Full-time conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on performance and GTS business/project needs.
The ideal candidate has IT project management experience, strong customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of active projects. Familiarity with A/V deployments and/or Rugged Mobility deployments is highly preferred.

What You Will Do
- Act as a liaison between GTS, customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Schedule internal and external project calls within defined service level expectations.
- Coordinate resource needs with Field Operations leadership.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor progress.
- Provide consistent updates to internal and external customers through project status reports and end-of-day reporting.
- Track project risks, communicate concerns, and escalate issues when needed.
- Support inventory shipment scheduling for customer-owned and GTS-owned equipment.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and project-related issues through completion.
- Submit invoices in alignment with billing requirements in the statement of work.
- Complete project closeout activities, including closeout calls, lessons learned, and customer satisfaction follow-up.
- Support job costing reviews, post-project cost analysis, and project-related sales support as needed.
- Ensure project work aligns with internal policies, deadlines, contractual requirements, and applicable standards., * Background Check Requirements: Must pass a satisfactory criminal background check in accordance with Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based guidelines upon hire.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Background: Must pass a satisfactory standard criminal background check upon hire., * Minimum of 3 years of related project management experience.
- IT project management experience.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a high volume of active projects with competing deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate resources effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% to assigned accounts.
- Comfort supporting public sector and public safety environments, which may include client-specific background requirements depending on project assignment.
Desired
- A/V project deployment familiarity.
- Rugged Mobility deployment familiarity.
- Experience supporting police, EMS, public safety, city, county, school district, or government customer environments.
- Experience with hardware deployments, field services, endpoint rollouts, mobile device deployments, vehicle technology, Toughbooks, rugged tablets, GPS systems, or related technical deployments.
- Experience managing 19 to 35 active projects during peak project periods.
- NetSuite experience.
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification preferred, but not required., * A/V deployment: 1 year (Preferred)
