Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Manager with a strong blend of technical expertise, operational leadership, and strategic vision to support and scale our autonomous vehicle fleet operations in the United States.

This role will lead the implementation and oversight of IT and security infrastructure across operational sites, coordinate internal IT consultants and external technology vendors, and serve as a critical interface between business operations, engineering teams, and strategic partners.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on infrastructure knowledge with the ability to lead complex operational initiatives in fast-paced, technology-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Drive alignment between business initiatives and technology strategy across fleet operations.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the existing technology ecosystem and operational architecture.

Coordinate local and remote IT vendors and service providers, including infrastructure, connectivity, hardware, software, and managed services.

Lead the implementation of physical and logical security systems across new and existing operational sites, including CCTV, access control, cybersecurity, and network security solutions.

Provide functional and technical leadership to the IT Consultants supporting US fleet operations.

Support the launch of new operational sites, ensuring readiness of infrastructure, communications, and critical systems.

Oversee the continuous maintenance, optimization, and scalability of operational technology infrastructure.

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, operational teams, and IT partners on technology-related matters.

Monitor vendor performance, SLA compliance, service quality, and project deliverables.

Ensure proper documentation of processes, configurations, deployments, and operational standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Strong experience managing cloud-based environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid infrastructures, and custom deployments.

  • Experience with software deployment and endpoint/device management.
  • Solid background in IT infrastructure management, including: *

  • Enterprise networks
  • Firewalls
  • Servers
  • CCTV systems
  • Remote access solutions
  • Enterprise WiFi environments
  • Proficiency with Windows and ChromeOS environments and related device management platforms.
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements for internal/external development teams.
  • Familiarity with fleet monitoring and operational control platforms, ideally within autonomous or advanced mobility environments.
  • Hands-on experience with systems integration, field equipment deployment, and L1/L2 technical support.
  • Experience managing operational systems related to service delivery, equipment, safety, quality, and technical documentation.
  • Strong interest and/or experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Opsgenie.
  • Experience administering and supporting Google Workspace environments.

Functional Skills

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and operationally viable technology solutions.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate business initiatives and associated ROI.

Understanding of fleet operational workflows, preferably within autonomous or semi-autonomous mobility operations.

Experience supporting the setup and launch of logistics, mobility, or technical operational facilities.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in similar leadership roles, ideally within mobility, logistics, automotive, or high-availability operational environments.

Project management certifications (PMP, ITIL, etc.) and familiarity with Agile methodologies are considered a strong plus.
