As a Software Project Manager - Life Sciences, you will lead regulated software projects where quality, governance and real-world impact matter. The Role As a Software Project Manager - Life Sciences, you will manage enterprise software implementation projects for clients in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. This is not generic project delivery. You will work in a high-value industry where digital transformation, regulation, patient safety, data quality and operational resilience all intersect. Life sciences technology is a strong career niche for software project managers. Pharma, biotech, medtech and regulated healthcare organisations continue to invest in better software, stronger compliance systems and more efficient digital workflows. Experience in this space gives you valuable, transferable expertise across several resilient and well-funded markets. You will take ownership of software delivery, project governance, stakeholder coordination and controlled documentation across the full project lifecycle.
- Lead enterprise software projects for life sciences and pharma clients
- Manage project plans, risks, actions, issues and dependencies
- Maintain controlled documentation across the project lifecycle
- Coordinate clients, technical teams and external delivery partners
- Support delivery governance aligned to regulated and GxP environments
- Improve project processes across compliance-led software delivery
Requirements
Must-Have
- Experience in software project management or IT project delivery
- Involvement in enterprise software or technology implementation projects
- Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills
- Confidence managing documentation, governance, risks and delivery plans

Experience in structured, regulated or compliance-led environments Nice-to-Have
- Awareness of life sciences, pharmaceutical technology or GxP environments
- Project management qualification or progress toward certification
- Academic background in technology, business or a related subject
- Experience working with international clients or external delivery partners
