- Assess the feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives, performing trade-off analyses to determine the best options
- Evaluate products to assess their suitability for integration into delivery system environments, ensuring compatibility and efficiency
- Draft data and information management products and service standards to guide development and operational practices
- Assess the impact of architectural decisions on the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Contribute to the development of architecture and data/information management standards and strategies
Requirements
Boeing’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Test & Evaluation Product Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Domain Architect to join the team at our Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Long Beach, CA; Ridley Park, PA; Plano, TX; North Charleston, SC; Hazelwood, MO; or Mesa, AZ locations.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in driving decisions for our future-state architecture, while supporting assessments of as-is architecture and plotting the transitional architecture as we modernize our portfolio. This position requires a strong understanding of architectural principles and the ability to integrate these functions into the software development lifecycle.
This individual will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, as this position will partner with stakeholders across the Test & Evaluation domain, including Information Technology (IT) and Engineering, from Software Developers to Executives, and Vendors to continuously evolve the architectural direction in concert with evolving business requirements., * 5+ years of experience creating system architectures/design
- 5+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience
- 5+ years of experience working with product data management information and systems
- 5+ years of experience working with software development lifecycles (SDLC)
- 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
- 5+ years of experience with architectural modeling and methodologies using The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
- 1+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and design, with a focus on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience with external cloud and cloud migration strategies and architectures
- Experience within Boeing IDT&S
- Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience as a software developer

Summary pay range:$159,300 - $194,700
