Job description

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead with 10+ years of software development experience to lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications supporting the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java Full Stack development, AWS cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices.

This role involves working closely with Product Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. The Development Lead will mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure successful delivery of both new development (DME) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) initiatives.

Requirements

10+ years of software development experience. Experience leading enterprise application development teams. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Important Skills (Must-Have)
