Job description

The Solution Architect will partner with Delivery, Operations, and Security teams, along with Shared Services (QA, DevOps, etc.), to ensure alignment of architectural solutions with enterprise standards and business objectives. The role requires deep technical expertise in cloud and platform architecture and the ability to operate in complex, mission-critical environments. Your role Define Google Cloud Platform landing zone architecture including networking, IAM, security, and logging Design and oversee environments for Dev, QA, UAT, and Production Architect and guide Rocket Software deployment on Google Cloud Platform Ensure high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), backup, and observability are production-grade Partner with Operations and Security teams to ensure compliance and smooth transition to operations Define cloud cost control strategies and capacity planning approaches Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions Lead architecture discussions and present recommendations to leadership Coordinate across delivery, infrastructure, and data teams to align execution Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards and best practices

Requirements

10+ years of experience in cloud/platform architecture Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) including compute, networking, IAM, and monitoring Experience supporting legacy platform modernization initiatives Strong understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and audit requirements Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation practices Proven experience designing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments Key competencies Ability to independently design and govern cloud platform solutions Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Expertise in driving architecture decisions and stakeholder alignment Excellent presentation and communication abilities Strong collaboration with cross-functional and offshore teams Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions Accountability Successful transition and handover to operations teams

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $98,497 to $233,248

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
