PHP Team Lead

• Lead a team ofdevelopers:plan their work,managetimelinesand ensure code quality, improvedevelopmentprocesses, mentor engineers.
• Manage technical debt across owned services,take ownership of technology decisions.
• Lead efforts tooptimizebackend performance, reliability, and scalability. Apply best practices and modern technologies to achieve these goals.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product managers, frontend, ML developers and other teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design, develop and enhance backend applications using PHP to supporteCarsTrade’sauction platform.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and delivery processes, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach, focusing on delivering value-added features and enhancements that meet the needs of our users.

Do you have experience in PHP?, * 6+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development.

• 2+ years of team leadership experience
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, drive technical initiatives, and lead by example.
• Proficiencyin Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
• Experience with implementing andoptimizingqueues for background processing of tasks.
• Solid understanding of scaling principles for backend systems and infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for writing clean, efficient code.
• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proventrack recordof delivering high-quality software solutions on schedule and within budget.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Proficiencyin both English and Russian is mandatory.
