Job description

General Job Description: Provides administration and operational support for Microsoft Azure Government cloud environments supporting federal operations and modernization initiatives. The Microsoft Azure Administrator interfaces regularly with other Systems Administrators, Network Administrators and Technical Services leadership, and is responsible for the installation, monitoring and support of client facing systems in Azure, cloud-based technologies. He/she will use the skills required of an Administrator role for Office 365 and have working knowledge of the skills required to provision, manage, monitor, and decommission Azure related services. Additional duties may consist of standard Enterprise Data Center support from Servers and Active Directory., * Administer Azure Government environments

  • Support automation and CI/CD operations.
  • Manage cloud monitoring and operational support.
  • Support identity and security integration.
  • Architecting technical solutions for business applications.
  • Application release pipelines.
  • Create and manage build pipelines.
  • Enhancing the current Azure cloud environments.
  • Monitoring and enhancing the security of current and future Azure environments.
  • Evaluating and automating the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environments.
  • Ensuring federated access across Active Directory and Azure EntraID.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
  • Implementing new environments in the Azure cloud.
  • Working with application teams to integrate Azure infrastructure components into NTSB’s processes and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Must be a US citizen

  • Must Reside in the DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
  • Must have a minimum of 10-years Experience
  • Master’s Degree Required, * 5+ years Azure administration experience

  • Masters Degree Required

  • Recommended Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate preferred

  • Experience supporting Azure Government

  • Azure certifications preferred

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments
