Job description
This is a Specialist-level Solution Architect role focused on defining and delivering end-to-end solution designs across enterprise systems. You will be responsible for translating business problems into structured technical solutions, ensuring alignment across functional and non-functional requirements, and maintaining architectural integrity through the full delivery lifecycle.
You will define architectural roadmaps, set solution standards, and ensure delivery teams are working to agreed principles and design frameworks. The role requires strong engagement across technical and business stakeholders, with accountability for solution quality, consistency, and scalability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing end-to-end solution architectures across complex enterprise systems
- Defining architectural roadmaps for systems and business services
- Producing architecture artefacts using UML, BPMN, and ArchiMate
- Setting and enforcing architectural standards and design principles
- Ensuring solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Providing technical direction and oversight to delivery teams
- Conducting quality assurance on architectural deliverables
- Supporting agile and traditional delivery methods
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, open standards, and open-source ecosystems
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture concepts and design methodologies
- Experience with integration patterns and architecture approaches
- Working knowledge of UML, BPMN, and ArchiMate
- Background in leading or guiding development teams from a technical design perspective
- Experience operating in both agile and waterfall environments
- Strong focus on solution quality and delivery assurance
- Eligibility for DV clearance required, Solution Architects with strong enterprise delivery experience who are comfortable operating in complex environments, leading technical design, and ensuring architectural consistency across delivery teams.
