Job description

On turnkey project and tender, the system and interface engineer:

  • participates to the system engineering (system sizing, system specification)
  • defines and manages interfaces between Subsystems either within Alstom contract or with other contractors or partners

We are looking to you to:

  • participate to the System definition and the system sizing
  • participate to the railway system analysis through a MBSE approach
  • write some system specifications and make them approved by all the stakeholders.
  • participate to system sizing by gathering the track, Power supply, signaling and Rolling stock data required for this activity and support the performances optimisation
  • participate to the requirement analysis and development
  • participate to the change analysis
  • produce or update some Interfaces documents in coordination with the subsystems and make them agreed by both subsystems and approved by the client

Requirements

  • a Master University Degree in Engineering
  • knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements
  • at least 5 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including 3 years in Railway projects
  • a good level of English, French and contract Language
  • knowledge of the rail environment and engineering practices
  • good co-ordination and communication skills
