Job description

The Automatic Train Control (ATC) is the signalling system which ensure the protection and automatic piloting of trains.

Attached to the ATC department (60 collaborators) within the Digital & Integrated System France, the leader is in charge to lead a functional team and deploy the ATC subsystem on Urban (metro) projects., The ATC leader is in charge to:

  • Lead the deployment team and activities of the ATC subsystem workpackage in the respect of QCD commitments, across various functions within and out of the ATC department
  • Interface with 3rd parties (others departements within Alstom, customer, Rolling Stock supplier…)
  • Implement the project delivery plan with respect to ATC activities up to revenue service, including
  • QCD management, quality and safety of the deliveries
  • Specifications and requirement management
  • Data preparation and verification
  • Validation & test follow-up
  • Onboard installation studies and hardware developments when needed
  • Investigations and problem solving across all project phases
  • Follow the applicable process and standards and contribute to their improvements
  • Report to metier and project management

Requirements

  • Engineer (Bac+5) with operational lead experience in railway, aeronautics, nuclear or automotive
  • Interest in technology, knowledge in system Engineering and/or software development methodologies, configuration and change management Development of complex industrial systems with V-Cycle, ideally safety related
  • Desirable knowledge of railway signalling domain, and ideally CBTC.
  • Comfortable in multicultural / international environment. English is mandatory.
