Job description

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistants (recent graduates) to collaborate with faculty members on advancing ongoing research projects in computer science, data science, and artificial intelligence. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on research experience, strengthen academic and analytical skills, and contribute to high-quality publications and open-source initiatives. The primary goal of this position is to support faculty members in their research and publication efforts. Research Assistants will contribute by extending and refining their own thesis work or related research materials to generate insights, conduct experiments, and develop content that supports new or extended faculty-led research publications.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Continue exploring and expanding upon previous research directions.
  • Identify opportunities for developing new research proposals or follow-up studies.
  • Refactor and release project implementations or data resources (as applicable).
  • Conduct additional analyses and experiments to strengthen research outcomes.
  • Write, refine, and assist in submitting research papers (and/or artifacts) to reputable conferences or journals in computer science.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) with a thesis or capstone project in a related research area.
  • Strong background and practical skills in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or related interdisciplinary fields.
  • A well-developed thesis or project that demonstrates potential for academic publication.
  • Excellent written communication and academic writing skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in collaborative research environments.
