Job description

The Inventory Technician III will lead inventory tracking, identification, and management activities for devices supporting Epic Beaker workflows. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all hardware is properly accounted for, staged, and deployment-ready ahead of Technical Dress Rehearsal and Go-Live., * Perform comprehensive inventory tracking of all Epic-related devices (workstations, printers, scanners, mobile units)

  • Execute device identification and tagging
  • Asset tagging
  • Barcode scanning
  • Validation against inventory systems
  • Maintain and update inventory management systems and logs
  • Validate device readiness for Technical Dress Rehearsal
  • Correct location
  • Proper configuration status
  • Accurate asset assignment
  • Conduct inventory audits and discrepancy resolution
  • Coordinate with:
  • Field services teams
  • Deployment teams
  • PMO and site leadership
  • Support device staging, redistribution, and cleanup activities
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and deployment standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in:
  • IT inventory management
  • Asset tracking in healthcare or enterprise environments
  • Prior experience supporting:
  • Hospital or clinical environments
  • Large-scale IT deployments or rollouts
  • Familiarity with:
  • Asset management systems
  • Barcode/RFID tracking tools

Preferred Experience

  • Prior Epic implementation experience
  • Exposure to:
  • Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal workflows
  • Device deployment for clinical applications (Beaker, EMR, lab systems)
  • Experience working in multi-site healthcare systems, * Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage high-volume inventory tasks
  • Clear communication with technical and operational teams
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Problem-solving and discrepancy resolution
