Job description

  • Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise software implementations, upgrades, and integrations using methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and Kanban.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, and Project management software to establish timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and success criteria; translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and risks proactively while communicating progress clearly to executive leadership and team members.
  • Oversee the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process including testing phases such as user acceptance testing (UAT), test case creation, and test-driven development practices.
  • Facilitate collaboration across IT teams managing AWS cloud computing environments, disaster recovery plans, and IT governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) standards while maintaining documentation related to project status, issues, and change requests in tools like VersionOne or Jira.
  • Lead release management activities including deployment planning, coordination with development teams, and post-implementation review to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and applying lessons learned to future projects.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS along with expertise in IT infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools including Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Jira, VersionOne, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
  • Deep understanding of SDLC processes combined with experience in requirements gathering, analysis skills, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management.
  • Familiarity with databases such as SQL and Oracle; experience with software development practices including test-driven development is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines through effective time management strategies.
  • Strong leadership qualities paired with exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and disaster recovery planning to ensure system resilience and compliance standards are met.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or equivalent are highly desirable.
