Job description

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer with 4-6 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server development and a good understanding of Healthcare IT systems. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL programming skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to develop efficient database solutions that support healthcare applications such as claims processing, member eligibility, provider management, and clinical or administrative systems., * Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.

  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and application support.
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
  • Support healthcare applications by troubleshooting data-related issues and ensuring data integrity.
  • Work closely with application development teams to design efficient database structures.
  • Develop scripts for database deployments and version control.
  • Participate in database design reviews and code reviews.
  • Create technical documentation for database objects and processes.
  • Assist in production support, issue investigation, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022).

  • Healthcare Data Warehousing
  • Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial Insurance workflows

Nice to Have

  • Experience with C#/.NET applications interacting with SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or SQL Managed Instance.
  • Exposure to Azure Data Factory.
  • Power BI or SSRS reporting experience.
  • Experience with database migration projects.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance and security standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent SQL debugging capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into database solutions.

  • Experience working in Healthcare IT environments.
  • Ability to work on production support as well as new development.
  • Experience handling complex healthcare data models.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership of assigned work.
