Job description

We are a growing organization looking for a hands-on Salesforce professional to support advanced development needs for one of our Business units operating in Salesforce. We value someone who can troubleshoot quickly, improve workflows, and build scalable Salesforce functionality where standard tools are not enough.

Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties

Manage Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permissions, and access controls
Configure and maintain page layouts, Lightning pages, objects, fields, and record types
Build and support reports, dashboards, and data visibility needs
Create and troubleshoot Salesforce Flows, validation rules, email alerts, and automation
Provide general Salesforce troubleshooting and user support
Support ongoing platform improvements and system optimization
Develop or support advanced functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, or custom development
Determine when declarative tools are sufficient and when custom development is needed
Assist with Salesforce integrations, data flow, and API related functionality as needed
Maintain clean, scalable, and reliable Salesforce configurations

Requirements

Salesforce certifications are preferred but not required unless specified by the client
Minimum 3 years of Salesforce development experience
Experience managing users, permissions, page layouts, Lightning pages, reports, dashboards, flows, validation rules, and email alerts
Strong background in Salesforce Lightning, declarative automation, troubleshooting, and platform configuration
Experience or strong background in Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, or custom Salesforce development
Proven ability to support both administrator level work and developer level enhancements
Ability to work independently in a part time capacity, roughly 20 hours per week
Comfortable working as either a 1099 contractor or W2 employee
