Job description

The Test Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts using cucumber, selenium, and java. The primary objective is to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through thorough testing. Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute automation scripts using cucumber, selenium, and java technologies.
  2. Design and implement test plans to ensure maximum test coverage.
  3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify software issues and troubleshoot defects.
  4. Conduct regression testing to maintain the integrity of the software product.
  5. Report and track defects to closure and verify fixes.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices in test automation and continuous integration.

Requirements

  1. Proficiency in automation testing tools like cucumber, selenium, and java.
  2. Strong programming skills in java for test script development.
  3. Experience in creating and executing test cases for web based applications.
  4. Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Other Requirements 1.Relevant certifications in test automation and Java programming are a plus.
