PHP / IOP Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate PHP / IOP Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality patient care within outpatient substance use and psychiatric programs, specializing in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. Your expertise will help guide patients through their recovery journeys, providing comprehensive assessments, medication management, and therapeutic interventions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals facing substance abuse and mental health challenges, utilizing your clinical skills and passion for patient-centered care., * Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and diagnostic assessments using ICD-10 coding standards.

• Manage medication regimens, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications while ensuring adherence to CPT coding guidelines.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR system Kipu, maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, medication administration, and self-care strategies to promote wellness.
• Learn systems and schedules in place to maintain compliance with client care.

Do you have experience in Advanced practice provider?, * Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner working in outpatient substance use programs, psychiatric settings or mental health clinics.

• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Kipu or other systems for documentation and patient management.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology related to psychotropic medications.
• Experience managing patients with complex psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms to provide remote patient care effectively.
