Engineering & Design - Sign Designer

Sales people will sketch up sign designs. Our graphic designer will turn those into sign proofs for our client to review. Once a proof is approved by our client, the graphic designer is responsible for creating production files. The graphic designer is responsible for 15-20 proofs, revisions, and orders a day. This position is 90% layout and 10% creative.

• Creative thinker who understands the importance of solid design and branding
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge, Acrobat)
• Competent in PC environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (mostly Outlook, some simple Excel)
• Professional and works well within a highly functioning creative team
• Confidence handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Participate in team critiques and use feedback to modify designs
• Driven and deadline oriented
• Exceptional written, editing, verbal, telephone and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills and high attention to detail, * Solid portfolio showing competency in a range of projects
• 4+ years of work experience in design related field. Please provide references (not including school)
• Associates Degree or better preferred

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent English - must have the ability to speak in English and communicate effectively before team members, * Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
• Graphic design: 3 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 3 years (Preferred)
