Job description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with a strong backend development background to join a growing Authentication and Fraud Technology team. This is a long-term opportunity to help build secure, scalable applications while working in a modern Java/Spring ecosystem with Angular on the front end.

Project Details:

  • Ongoing development supporting Authentication and Fraud applications
  • Opportunity to convert to a full-time employee after the contract
  • Build and enhance secure, enterprise-scale applications
  • Develop new features, implement enhancements, and participate throughout the full SDLC
  • Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders
  • Utilize Generative AI tools as part of the daily development workflow

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, Backend Developer, or Java Developer
  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience developing microservices using Java 21
  • Front-end experience with Angular and JavaScript
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, AJAX, and responsive web development
  • Experience with RESTful services and enterprise application development
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket
  • Experience with Maven, JUnit, Mockito, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, JPA, or MyBatis

Desired Skills

  • Experience with OpenShift or other container platforms
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments
  • Experience creating application architecture documentation and UML diagrams
