Job description
Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Platform Engineer (Level 2) to support enterprise hosting environments and enhanced Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (eVDI) systems within a secure federal environment. In this role, you will configure, integrate, and maintain virtual and physical systems that enable mission-critical operations. You will collaborate with engineers, database administrators, and network specialists to ensure reliable service delivery, system optimization, and seamless user access across classified networks. This position directly supports the stability and scalability of critical infrastructure supporting national security missions.
Requirements
- Must have experience implementing, integrating, and maintaining systems within Citrix, Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
- Must have experience performing software scripting, provisioning, and configuration management to support enterprise hosting platforms.
- Must have experience troubleshooting complex issues related to eVDI performance, connectivity, and configuration.
- Must be able to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for enterprise Citrix users and back-end systems.
- Must have experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate applications into enterprise virtual environments.
- Must have experience conducting system performance analysis, capacity planning, and optimization activities.
- Must have experience implementing network solutions such as load balancing, VPNs, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline and ten (10) years of relevant experience. Four (4) additional years of Platform Engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
- Must possess DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or higher certification.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph required.
Salary Range: A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
