Job description
Become part of the Software and Data Services Unit at Next Kraftwerke and support the Data Engineering team in providing high-quality data to a wide range of users. We work at our location in the center of Cologne-Ehrenfeld, and of course also remote. As a working student, you will be responsible for creating, customizing and maintaining various data pipelines in direct collaboration with our users. You can quickly take on a lot of responsibility, shape your area of activity and gain hands-on experience and business/domain knowledge., * Pandas, Selenium
- Airflow, Grafana, Azure
- MySQL, Postgres
- Jira, Confluence
- GitHub, Jenkins, Docker
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * You are interested in the background and domain of your software.
- You work in a team with agile concepts such as code reviews, pair programming and retrospectives.
- You work independently on specific challenges., * You are currently a student and still enrolled for at least one year in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- You have a good knowledge of Python.
- You have some experience with data engineering tools and pipelines (e.g. Apache Airflow).
- You are creative, inquisitive and enjoy discussing technical problems with colleagues.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
