Job description
This Software Engineer in Test role focuses on building and maintaining automated test scripts and DevSecOps artifacts across Java and database-driven technology stacks. The position involves hands-on testing, development, deployment support, and participation across the full software development lifecycle, with an emphasis on API testing, database validation, SQL, and automation.
Requirements
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 10+ years of experience in software development and testing. Key skills include RESTful web service testing with tools like RestAssured or Bruno, strong SQL experience for test validation, object-oriented programming in Java, Python, or a similar language, and familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins or uDeploy. AWS or similar cloud certifications, problem-solving ability, strong communication skills, and experience writing RESTful services in Java are also expected. Must Have:
