Senior Microsoft Purview & Modern Workplace Consultant - Basildon / Yateley / Yeovil

As a Senior Microsoft Purview & Modern Workplace Consultant, you’ll be the technical lead for data governance and compliance engagements - owning solution design and full lifecycle delivery across Microsoft 365, Purview, SharePoint and the Power Platform. You’ll shape pre-sales and discovery, translate complex regulatory requirements into robust solutions, and mentor fellow consultants., * Act as technical lead on Microsoft Purview engagements - owning design, build and lifecycle delivery of information protection, DLP, retention, records management, insider risk and eDiscovery across client tenants.

• Lead the technical direction of pre-sales and discovery engagements, including demonstrations and solution design.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements (e.g. UK GDPR, ISO 27001) into Scopes of Work and Technical Solution Designs, mapped to Purview controls and Compliance Manager.
• Contribute to tender responses and bid strategy with the sales and projects teams.
• Produce high-standard documentation and present solutions to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and upskill consultants across the modern work team, and keep up to date with developments across Microsoft cloud technologies.

• Extensive experience in a similar role across Microsoft 365, Purview, SharePoint and the Power Platform.
• Demonstrable delivery of compliance and data governance solutions across the Purview E5 workloads.
• Strong solution architecture and design skills across Microsoft 365 collaboration tooling.
• SharePoint configuration, administration, migration and scripting (CSOM, PowerShell, PnP), plus PowerApps and Power Automate development.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with proposal and tender experience.

Desirable:

• Microsoft certifications (SC-400/SC-401, SC-100, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert), MCT, Copilot and Copilot Studio, and Azure development experience.
